Wichita, Kansas – "Tom's Elton Tribute" is headed to Century II Performing Arts & Convention Center on April 27. Tickets start at $25 and will go on sale Friday. Tickets are available online at selectaseat.com, by phone at 855-755-SEAT (7328) or in-person at the Century II Box Office or at the Select-A-Seat Box Office at INTRUST Bank Arena.

The world’s number one Elton John tribute band is coming to play "All the Hits" of Elton John. The spectacular show includes "Bennie and the Jets," "Tiny Dancer," "Rocket Man," "Candle In The Wind," "Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me," "I’m Still Standing," "Crocodile Rock," and "Your Song." They will also be performing classic album tracks like "Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding" from "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," the multi-platinum double LP released in 1973.

Tom Cridland, playing the part of Elton John on lead vocals and piano, is close friends with Elton John's drummer, Nigel Olsson; has recorded songs and episodes of his "Greatest Music of All Time" podcast with Elton John's guitarist, Davey Johnstone; and has even met Sir Elton himself.

Tom’s deep connection with this music has developed from going to watch Elton John’s own legendary drummer (since 1969) Nigel play live with Elton John at more than 50 concerts. His attention to detail in capturing the authentic spirit of the music and fabulous costumes of Elton John and his band is simply unparalleled.

"Tom’s Elton Tribute" means more to Tom than just music. “I have been sober for six years, inspired by Elton John. I recently had the chance to say thank you to Elton John in person for inspiring my sobriety," Tom said. "Celebrating Elton and his band’s music by playing it live is what keeps me sober. What I see as the overriding message of The Elton John Band is no matter who are you, be true to yourself.”

Tom has already played over 300 live dates, including shows at iconic venues including O2 City Hall Newcastle, Plymouth Pavilions, G Live, The Anvil, Sheffield City Hall and St David's Hall. In late 2021, Tom toured the UK with multi-platinum Philadelphia soul group, The Stylistics, performing with them at 19 shows.

"Tom’s Elton Tribute" is 100% live with no vocal or instrumental backing tracks or lip syncing, just like Elton John and his band. Just like Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy, "Tom’s Elton Tribute" is going to be taking itself “from the end of the world to your town.”
