Open Streets ICT brings Wichitans of all ages together for an active, fun, community building afternoon in Wichita's historic Deland District all the way down to East High School area. Enjoy a day of biking, fun physical activities, music, dancing, and much more.
Open Streets ICT is evolving! This year’s route is designed to create a more walkable and vibrant event space, with three bustling hubs located at Kennedy Plaza, Naftzger Park, and East High School filled with food, fun, and activities for all ages. Douglas Avenue will be closed to traffic for 2.5 miles, from Grove St. to Seneca St. in the historic Delano District, and the street will be open for biking, walking, running, and more.
Cruise along the 2.5 mile stretch and explore participating shops, businesses, and a variety of food vendors along the route.
Please remember no motorized vehicles of any kind are allowed.
